Ingredients
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup tamarind pulp
1/2 cup jaggery
1.5 cups water
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala
salt to taste
Steps to follow:
- Soak the dates, tamarind pulp and jaggery in 1.5 cups of water for an hour.
- Boil the mixture for half an hour on a low flame.
- Once cooled, blend in a mixie. Add extra water to get it to desired consistency.
- Sieve into an air tight container.
- Add salt, red chilli powder and chaat masala.
- Mix well and refrigerate.
