I never knew that Gobi Parathas existed till a friends mom made them and fed us. I must say, Gobi has never tasted better. These parathas are a meal by themselves and dont really need any condiments.
Ingredients
For the stuffing
1 small cauliflower finely chopped or grated
salt to taste
2 green chillies finely chopped
pinch of garam masala
pinch of turmeric
For the dough
2 cups wheat flour
salt to taste
pinch of turmeric
water to knead
1 tbsp oil
Steps to follow
- Mix all the stuffing ingredients, you can be creative with the spices and add any spice of your choice.
- Knead the dough making sure its not too soft.
- Now take a small ball of the dough and roll to a small sized roti, stuff it with the gobi mixture, seal completely, cover it with dry wheat flour and roll gently.
- Shallow fry with a atleast a teaspoon of oil for each paratha.
